To import orders and products to your farm, you need to add a Shopify origin. We have a Shopify plugin on our roadmap, but it is not available yet. In the meantime, you will need to create a custom app with an API key.
- In your Shopify admin panel navigate to Settings → Apps and sales channels.
- Click Develop apps, then click Create an app. Enter app name (i.e. JetForge) and hit Create app button.
- Go to API credentials and click Configure Admin API scopes button. Select following scopes: write_orders, read_orders, read_products, read_product_listings, read_product_feeds, read_customers. Hit Save button.
- Finally, go to API credentials and hit Install app. Confirm your intention. When app is installed, click Reveal token once and write down your access token. You'll need it in next steps.
You will also need you shopify domain name which is your shopify shop identificator. In Shopify admin panel got to Settings → Domains. Find the domain which ends with starts with random letter and number combination and ends with .shopify.com. Copy this domain.
Finally, to link your Shopify store to JetForge, in JetForge admin panel go to Settings → Origins and hit Add Origin button. Select "Shopify" as type and name your origin (use your shop name especially if you want to connect multiple shops to single farm). Click Submit button and enter your domain and API key on the next screen. Then hit Submit button again.
Now you should be able to import your Shopify products and orders into your JetForge farm.
